PETER PAN & THE ENGLISH PRIMARY SCHOOL

Modena

Why are more and more families choosing Peter Pan and EPS?

Bilingualism

In our schools, English is not just a subject, but the language of everyday life. At Peter Pan Preschool, the children enjoy a natural and spontaneous full immersion experience, without any pressure.

At the English Primary School, bilingualism is systematically developed: English is a tool for learning and thinking. Pupils grow up able to use both languages confidently to communicate, learn and think.

Cambridge & English National Curriculum

STEAM

Through the STEAM programme, we integrate science, technology, design, art and mathematics from early childhood onwards. We foster observation, creativity and the ability to find original solutions.

Through workshops on coding and educational robotics, pupils learn to experiment, reason and create, drawing on different areas of knowledge to tackle real-world challenges.

Outdoor education

At Peter Pan and the English Primary School, Outdoor Education is a way of experiencing school life every day, whatever the season. Nature becomes an extension of the classroom, a living space in which to develop independence and environmental awareness.

Scientific research confirms this: children learn best when they can engage with their surroundings.

That is why we choose to encourage children to spend time outdoors every day.

Social Emotional Learning

Through the SEL Workshop, we support children throughout their educational journey, fostering the development of the emotional and social skills needed to feel good about themselves and others.

Recognising one’s own emotions, managing conflicts constructively and collaborating with others are fundamental skills that our pupils develop through dialogue and guided reflection.

Teacher training

The quality of a school depends on the quality of its teachers. We believe that training teachers means ensuring, day in, day out, that children receive a high-quality educational experience.

This is why, in Becoming Education schools, training is not a one-off event but an ongoing process that fosters competence, awareness and educational care.

The Becoming Academy is the exclusive centre dedicated to the training of all teaching staff within the Becoming Education group.

Food education

Lunchtime is a key educational and social experience at the heart of our model.

We encourage a healthy and inquisitive relationship with food, by raising awareness of seasonal produce and minimising waste.

One of our flagship initiatives is the Taste Club, a group of parents who are actively involved in assessing the quality of the school dining hall and promoting a healthy eating culture.

Active Learning

In our schools, we put theory into practice and experiment. Drawing inspiration from the Montessori method in the Preschool and from active learning approaches in the Primary, we place every pupil at the centre of their own learning.

Teachers act as guides and facilitators, using a variety of approaches to nurture individual interests and channel natural curiosity into a drive to learn.

english curriculum

Yes, bilingualism is a core value. At Peter Pan Preschool, children enjoy a natural and spontaneous full immersion English experience.

At the English Primary School, bilingualism is systematically developed: English is a tool for learning, thinking, and daily communication.

Bilingualism

No. For Preschool, starting is stress-free as comprehension develops naturally from context and experience. Even for the primary school, previous knowledge is not required; languages are learned naturally, just like the mother tongue.
Learning is not a passive reception but a process of active research based on direct experience and curiosity. We use active and interdisciplinary methodologies, integrating STEAM, coding, and robotics to build real-world skills. Spaces are designed as a “third educator” to foster independence and discovery.
